ISO 14001

ISO 14000 is a family of standards related to environmental management that exists to help organizations minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment; comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements; and continually improve in the above.

SA 8008

TheSA8000®Standard is the leading social certification standard for factories and organizations across the globe. It was established by Social Accountability International in 1997 as a multi-stakeholder initiative. Over the years, the Standard has evolved into an overall framework that helps certified organizations demonstrate their dedication to the fair treatment of workers across industries and in any country.

Wholesafety Group is not certified yet according to SA 8000, but the Management System is implemented and integrated with ISO 9001 (in particular with Child Labour Operative procedure and Suppliers’ validation Procedure) since September 2021.
Health and Safety of workers is one of the main (not the only one) purpose for this standard.

The goal of Wholesafety Group is to submit the application within 2022.

GOTS

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS): this standard stipulates requirements throughout the supply chain for both ecological and labour conditions in textile and apparel manufacturing using organically produced raw materials. Organic production is based on a system of farming that maintains and replenishes soil fertility without the use of toxic, persistent pesticides or synthetic fertilisers. In addition, it includes welfare standards for animal husbandry and prohibits genetically modified organisms.

Wholesafety Group is able to provide on demand cotton that is GTOS certified. During the last 3 years the request by our customers and our offering has been significantly increased. 

GRS

Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certifies products obtained from recycled materials and manufacturing activities. Enhanced products made with recycled materials, in compliance with environmental and social criteria extended to all stages of the production chain.

Wholesafety Group are applying this standard for many of the polyester fabrics in production.

AITEX

AITEX is a third-party certification body where PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is certified according to several standards: EN or NFPA or AU/NZ.

BSCI Business Social Compliance Initiative

All our suppliers if not SA 8000 Certified are invited to BSCI compliance and most of them are.

Sedex

This Certification has the same purpose of BSCI or SA8000 and it is quite common in Bangladesh where it is accepted for suppliers’ validation by Wholesafety Group. 

OEKO-TEX

If a textile article carries the STANDARD 100 label, you can be certain that every component of this article, i.e., every thread, button and other accessories, has been tested for harmful substances and that the article therefore is harmless for human health. The test is conducted by our independent OEKO-TEX® partner institutes on.
